Lawyer Alex Van Der Zwaan has been sentenced to 30 days in prison and must pay a $20,000 fine, becoming the first person sentenced in special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation. Van Der Zwaan pleaded guilty in February to lying to federal agents about his work in Ukraine with former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort and former Trump campaign aide Rick Gates. Van Der Zwaan is the son-in-law of Russian oligarch German Khan.
