Quick And Easy: Recipe For Making Paneer At Home!

Ingredients:

2 liter milk full cream

2 tbsp lemon juice / curd / vinegar

1/4 tsp salt

Method: 

First of all  take a thick bottomed vessel an pour take 2-liter milk in it.

Now get the milk to boil and stir it occasionally to prevent from burning and forming malai on top.

Once the milk comes to boil, simmer and pour 2 tbsp lemon juice or  you can use curd or vinegar as alternates.

Now stir continuously till the milk curdles while keeping the flame on low.

If you want to add more lemon juice/ curd/vinegar, feel free to add more.

Drain the curdles milk over a cloth-lined over a colander.

Now squeeze off the water completely. be careful as the curdled milk will be very hot.

Rinse off the curdled milk with fresh water to remove sourness of lemon juice.

To add flavor to the paneer, add 1/4 tsp salt and mix well.

Now squeeze off the water completely. do not over squeeze as the moisture in paneer will be lost.

Now fold the cloth tight giving the good shape to paneer.

And place a heavy weight on the paneer for 20 minutes to set.

After 20 minutes, the paneer block will be ready.

Cut into cubes or desired shape.

Homemade paneer is ready use it as you want.
