Holocaust survivor Martin Lowenberg is set to speak about his experiences during a presentation on April 16.
Lowenberg will speak about his time in the ghetto and concentration camps in a talk at 7 p.m. in the Remick Heritage Center inside Presbyterian Hall on the Alma College campus.
“Mr. Lowenberg is a celebrated and compelling speaker who continues to give numerous presentations at schools both in and beyond Michigan in order to educate others about the importance of combating hate,” said Joanne Gilbert, the event’s faculty sponsor.
The presentation, scheduled in commemoration of Yom Hashoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day), is sponsored by Alma College Hillel.
A reception will follow the presentation.
Admission is free and open to the public.
