Please don’t tell me that the party is over already! Why it seems that we were just beginning to feel comfortable with the other commodity guests as it had been so long since any of us has been invited to a celebration of any type. The music was just beginning to play, and I do not believe there had even been time to begin serving any refreshments or appetizers just yet. Look at those people over at the equity event. They have been partying it seems non-stop since February of last year ( 60%), and that is the third major rally party they have thrown since 2009. I am pretty sure they are so inebriated with their own success, they have forgotten what true value really means. I bet most of them believe that food originates at the grocery store and gas is pumped right from the earth beneath the station. I wonder what kind of celebration they will have if they walked into Whole Foods and discovered that the already overpriced products jumped even a fraction of what the stock market has gained.
What is that you say? The party is not really over yet, and we are just taking a little breather until a couple more guests arrive? This was little more than the preliminaries, organizing and setting the stage for the big event. That makes more sense as I had heard that the organizers had already booked the bands North American Drought and Growing Global Demand who were going to combine for a set that is sure to bring the house down, or maybe up in this case. I guess that means we just need to remain patient a bit longer and why not at this point. It has already taken over six years to move the pieces into place so what are a few more months in the greater scheme of things. They say that good things come to those who wait.
