Paints and coatings firm AkzoNobel India today said its board will consider a share buyback proposal later this week.
"A meeting of the board of directors of the company scheduled to be held on April 6, 2018, inter alia, to consider proposal to buy back its own shares," Akzo Nobel India Ltd said in a BSE filing.
The company, however, did not elaborate on the matter.
Shares of Akzo Nobel India ended 0.39 per cent higher at Rs 1,814.85 on BSE.
