DENVER (AP) — The Latest on wildfires in Colorado (all times local):

Authorities are still assessing the damage caused by a wildfire near Grand Junction but say at least one home was destroyed.

The Mesa County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday that multiple structures were burned in Monday's fire in the Redlands area. It was fanned by winds and forced the evacuation of residents of about 360 homes.

The sheriff's office is also investigating how the fire started and is asking for anyone with information or video or photographs from the start of the fire to contact them.

Also on Monday, a 300-acre (121-hectare) wildfire east of Colorado Springs forced 280 people from their homes. The fire was 100 percent contained Monday night, and no homes were reported burned.

High winds are raising the fire danger again, this time mainly in southern Colorado.

A red flag warning has been issued for the Colorado Springs and Pueblo areas and the southeastern corner of the state Tuesday.

On Monday, a fire near Grand Junction pushed by wind forced the evacuation of residents of at least 300 homes. The extent of damage wasn't immediately known but The Daily Sentinel reported that the fire in the Redlands area was fully contained by midnight.

East of Colorado Springs, a 300-acre (121-hectare) wildfire forced 280 people from their homes. The fire was 100 percent contained Monday night, and no homes were reported burned.
