Deepika to play Sridevi in NTR biopic?

Late Sridevi had paired up with Late NT Rama Rao in many films. She had acted as granddaughter to NT Rama Rao as child artiste in Badipantulu and later she played his love interest in blockbusters like Vetagadu, Kondaveeti Simham and Bobbili Puli. Thiers was a hit pair in late 70's and early 80's.

Now that NTR's biopic is being made, the team is trying to rope in several top stars to essay various roles. Most of these characters will be like guest roles. To add more glamour and to attract the Hindi audiences, the team is now planning to approach Bollywood's current numero uno female star Deepika Padukone to essay the role of Sridevi.

But question is, will Deepika agree to this?
