Union Law Minister Ravishankar Prasad has said the Narendra Modi Government will never allow the Constitutional provisions about reservation of SCs/STs to be abridged. The Minister said this in an interview to Doordarshan.
Mr. Prasad again said today that the Government did not agree with the Supreme Court's verdict in the Prevention of Atrocities on SCs/ST case. And that is why, it filed a Review Petition in the Apex Court, he said. Mr Prasad also questioned Congress President Rahul Gandhi's stand on this issue.
