BENGALURU: A 38-year-old doctor has been accused of harassing his wife for not getting pregnant and forcing her to watch porn movies. The woman filed a case with Vidyaranyapura police; but the case was transferred to Davangere women's police station as the incident took place in its jurisdiction.

A senior police officer from Vidyaranyapura police station said, "A case of dowry harassment was filed against Dr Manjunath on March 7. The woman, who is 15 years younger than her husband, alleged that she was being harassed as she did not get pregnant even after three years of marriage. He would force her to watch porn movies and then enact the same later. However, Manjunath has denied all the allegations."

Vidyaranyapura police added that Manjunath had also threatened to post his wife's nude photos and videos on social networking sites if she did not oblige to what he asked of her. The woman has also named Manjunath's brother Ranganath and her in-laws in the complaint.
