Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced ex gratia of 10 lakh rupees each to the next of kin of those who were killed in Mosul in Iraq.

39 Indians were kidnapped and killed by the Islamic State and the remains were found in a mass grave in Badoush village on the outskirts of Mosul.
