MAPUSA: A UK national visiting an inmate at the Central jail at
Colvale, was caught red-handed with 13g of a narcotic substance suspected to be
ganja at the police security frisking point, on Tuesday. The accused was arrested under the Narcotic
Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS) and handed over to the Mapusa police.
Tuesdays and Fridays are visiting days at the Central Jail, and Dominic Vincent, 51, was there to visit an inmate, Andrew Gian, around noon.
