In Haryana, textbooks will be available in all Government schools before the commencement of new academic session which is being started from April 2, an official spokesman said on Sunday.
Stating this in Rewari, the spokesman said that this was for the first time when the work of delivering textbooks in schools was being completed before the start of new session.
This time, the government had paid complete attention in this direction. Earlier, due to delay in availability of textbooks in schools, courses were not completed on time and both the student and teacher were worried. This had also impacted the results. This time the textbooks have already been reached in schools before the commencement of new session.
He said that there is provision to provide free text books from I to VIII classes in all government schools in the state. The new academic session would start from April 2 and study in schools would not be disrupted due to lack of books.
The spokesman added that textbooks from I to V and VII classes had already reached government school and the same for VI and VIII standard would reach by Monday.
