A trip from New York to DC went South on Easter Sunday-??After all 51 members of a tour group from London were hospitalized for food poisoning.??Fox News reports that Twelve teens were initially taken to the hospital after arriving at their hotel in DC??But In what spokesperson for District of Columbia Fire and EMS Vito Maggiolo called a quote: “...slowly escalating incident.”??More and more were later hospitalized for similar gastro intestinal issues. ??In the end, all 48 teens along with 3 adults were eventually taken to the hospital-??though some remained symptomless.??Maggiolo went on to say:??"We were told that some of the group were ill when they were in New York so we think whatever issue they’ve encountered did not originate here.”??Officials with New York City’s Department of Health and Mental Hygiene tells the NY Daily News that they are currently looking into the origin of the illness.
