KATHMANDU: UN Under-Secretary-General and High Representative for Disarmament Affairs Izumi Nakamitsu arrived in Kathmandu on a three-day Nepal visit on Sunday.
Nakamitsu will call on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Foreign Minister Pradeep Gyawali and Foreign Secretary Shanker Das Bairagi. He will depart from Kathmandu on April 3.
Nepal hosts UN Regional Centre for Peace and Disarmament for Asia and the Pacific and supports initiatives to peace and disarmament in the world. — HNS
