The Election Commission today announced poll schedule for 13 seats of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council and 11 seats for Bihar Legislative Council. The term of office of the 13 members of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council including former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav is due to expire on 5th of next month.

The terms of 11 members of Bihar Legislative Council including Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi and RJD Leader and Former CM Rabri Devi will expire on 6th of next month.

The nomination for the election will begin from 9th of this month and the last date for nomination will be 16th of this month. The polling and counting will take place on 26th of this month.
