The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan while addressing the associations of employees and officers here today said that enhancement in retirement age from 60 to 62 years will not affect recruitment opportunities for youth in government services.
After this decision, whatever posts are required will be created separately. He further mentioned that youth will be recruited on one lakh posts. No new posts will be reduced. As many as 7 lakh 50 thousand youth will be linked with the self-employment this year.
Chouhan also made announcement for enhancing retirement age from 60 to 62 years in corporations, boards, courts and authorities.
CM Chouhan stated that cooperative convention will be organised soon. A convention of contractual workers will also be called. Moreover, a convention of aaganbadis’ workers will be organised on April 8.
He mentioned that he will not let anyone do any harm to the dignity and respect of employees and officers. Referring to Shiksha Mitra E- Presence, Chouhan said that he will not any insulting condition come into effect.
Employees should keep on discharging their duties, their honour will be protected.
The Chief Minister mentioned that 31thousand teachers, assistant teachers and lecturers will be recruited. Notification will be issued in the last week of April.
Thereafter more 31thousand teachers will be recruited.
He said that 1800 doctors will be recruited. Besides this, recruitment of 2500 ANM, staff nurses and 14 thousand constables is underway. In addition to this, new recruitment of 8000 constables will be carried out. Sub inspectors and deputy tahsildars will be recruited on one lakh posts.
Chouhan further said that new posts will be created for youth after enhancing the retirement age from 60 to 62 years. This decision will not affect recruitment opportunities for youth in government services. Youth should not worry; they will get sufficient service opportunities.
Moreover, the Chief Minister stated that promotions of government employees and officers are pending due to the promotion case being under consideration before the Supreme Court. Many government employees retired without promotion. The employees were not at fault.
Chouhan said that how to give benefit of promotion to those employees, who have already retired will be mulled. He mentioned that at the time of previous governments, struggle was made to get D.A. equal to the union government. Now this decision has been taken that the state government will increase D.A. as and when the union government increases the D.A.
Chouhan describing the contractual system as unjustified mentioned that it will be abolished.
