EastEnders spoilers: Sharon Mitchell and Mel Owen in creamy clash as killer Phil exposed
EASTENDERS fans witnessed a creamy clash between fierce rivals Sharon Mitchell and Mel Owen during this evening’s episode after she blabbed that Phil was there when Hunter’s dad Steve Owen died - and even said that he was the one who killed him.
Hunter (played by Charlie Winter) secretly joined the Mitchell family for an Easter Monday meal, including Sharon’s (Letitia Dean) speciality of bread and butter pudding with cream.
However, Sharon was soon wearing it after drunkenly causing a stir at the dinner table.
Challenging Mel (Tamzin Outhwaite), Sharon quipped: “You and Jack looked to be getting on well this morning.
“Well, he’s your type. Young, good looking. Fantastic head of hair. Nearly married him myself, you know.”
Mel nervously smiled: “Thanks for the heads up.”

Sharon replied: “You’re welcome. Better late than never.”
Not happy with how Sharon’s conversation was going, Mel snapped: “What’s that supposed to mean?”
Sharon then said: “Well, she hasn’t got the best history with men. We know about Steve.
“Oh, and then Dan. He was a wrong ’un too though, wasn’t he?
“I suppose there was Ian, but blimey. You made a right cock-up of that, didn’t you?

“And then there was this one [Billy]. As if that was ever going to happen. No offence, Billy. Anyone I’m missing?”
Hunter and Mel then stood up to leave as Phil (Steve McFadden) turned to Hunter and said: “Just sit down son.”
Finding another opportunity to cause chaos, Sharon said: “Son? Funny thing to call hum.
“Because he’s not. Is he? Your son? So it’s a strange thing to say, don’t you think?
“I mean it just seems odd, calling him ‘son’ when you’re the one who killed his dad. I didn’t mean it.”

Hunter stormed towards the door in shock before challenging Phil, as he asked: “Is it true?”
Phil responded: “It weren’t like that,” as Mel raged: “Shut up Phil!”
Hunter’s murderous father Steve Owen (Martin Kemp) died after a car chase that ended with him crashing into two petrol tanks while carrying Louise in his car.
While Phil didn’t kill Steve, he didn’t save him from the burning wreckage.
EastEnders continues tomorrow on BBC One at 7.30pm.
