Ranka police arrested three notorious criminals during vehicle checking near Sarveswari petrol pump Ranka under their own police station on Sunday. Police also recovered two country made pistols, six live cartridges, four mobile phone and bike from them.
According to Garhwa SP Mohammad Arshi on a tip off Ranka police held vehicle checking near petrol pump where three motorcycle riders on a motorcycle coming towards Ranka from Garhwa when after saw the police they make effort to escaping. Later police captured them.
Police also recovered two country made pistol, six live cartriges, four mobile phone and bike from them.
Arrested criminals have identified as Birbal Prajapati a resident of village Jata under Garhwa police station, Jitendra Paswan and Jyant Paswan both of village Durjan under Ramkanda police station. Birbal was wanted to the police in two murder case.
He also collecting levy for the naxals. A rape case was also logged against another criminal Jitendra while third criminal was the illegal arms supplier and disclosed some in puts about arms to the police, the SP added.
