Hyderabad: Telugu news anchor V Radhika Reddy commits suicide due to depression

HYDERABAD:  Popular Telugu TV Channel news anchor commits suicide in Moosapet area on Sunday night by jumping from the terrace of a building.

The news presenter was 36-year-old in age. She was famous as V Radhika Reddy. The presenter was found dead with several wounds at Srivila Apartments.

V Radhika Reddy wrote in her suicide note that she was in depression. It added that ‘No one should be held responsible for her death.’

As per Kukatpally ACP Bhujanga Rao, the matter occurred at 10.40pm.

“She comeback from office and jumped from the top floor of the building. She sustained leg fracture and several wounds. The presenter died on the spot. We recovered a suicide note in her bag in which she cited that she was finishing her life because of depression. She added that her brain is her enemy,” the cop stated.

Radhika Reddy was a news anchor in V6 channel. Cyberabad Cop stated Radhika took divorce from her husband 6 months back and was living with her parents. She used to live along with differently-abled 14-year-old son.
