It's been the question on everyone's mind since Famous in Love left fans off on that massive romantic cliff-hanger, with Paige (Bella Thorne) being forced to choose between her best friend Jake (Charlie DePew) and her co-star Rainer (Carter Jenkins). Now, the stars and creator of the Freeform drama are weighing in on who they think would be the best match for the up-and-coming actress.
Although creator I. Marlene King makes clear that she's neither Team Jake nor Team Rainer, King suggests that Jake could be a grounding force in Paige's life during this time of massive change. "Jake definitely provides stability and we know he loves Paige for who she is because they used to be best friends. You can trust Jake," King say.
But while Perrey Reeves, who plays Rainer's mom Nina Devon, acknowledges how special it is to fall in love with your best friend, she points out that Rainer has always been able to see Paige's potential and has been instrumental in fostering her talent and career. "To have someone like Rainer who's deeply sensitive and he's artistic and sees somebody in you that you didn't know you had. That's also incredibly appealing," adds Reeves.

Belle Thorne, who stars as Paige, seems to agree, noting that, "I think I see more life in Paige when she's with Rainer."
However, Paige's options aren't just limited to Jake or Rainer. There's also the possibility that Paige might just need to take some time for herself and focus on her career right now. "Seriously, she needs to be single," explains Pepi Sonuga, who plays Tangey Turner. "She has this huge movie coming out, her life is about to take off."
Even Carter Jenkins, who stars as Rainer, notes that dating either Jake or Rainer might not be best for Paige at the moment. "Look, I don't know if either of those choices are what she needs right now. But love is not always logical," he teases.
Famous in Love returns with a two-hour premiere on Wednesday, April 4 at 8/7c.
