‘Naidu tarnishing Modi’s image’

BJP MLC P.V.N. Madhav has alleged that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is trying to cover up his failures by tarnishing the image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Addressing the media here on Sunday, he said: “The Centre has fulfilled all the promises pertaining to A.P. The State government has failed to provide land and documents needed to ensure implementation of certain projects.”

The State unit of the party would lodge a complaint with Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan against Mr. Naidu for “misusing” the Assembly to lower the image of Mr. Modi, he reiterated. He further said Mr. Naidu had no moral right to speak about “Telugu self-respect” and “Telugu pride,” as he was responsible for the removal of Telugu medium in the government-run schools. “The BJP is on the job of making people aware of the allocations of budgets and projects,” he said. “Let us take Kakinada as an example. The Centre sanctioned 34 projects. But the government failed to allot land,” he said.
