Jammu and Kashmir: Security forces kill one terrorist, nab another after encounter in Anantnag district
Security forces on Sunday gunned down a terrorist and nabbed another in an early morning operation in Dialgam operation Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag.
According to local reports, the terrorists were hiding inside a house, but when the security forces asked them to surrender they started shooting. One of the two terrorists was killed in the responsive fire.
The encounter broke around 3:30 on Sunday morning and ended at around 4:30 am. Both terrorists were local residents.
Rouf Bashir, the Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist killed in the encounter today. Bashir was a local resident.
Meanwhile, exchange of fire has also been reported from Kachdoora village and Dargrad in Shopian district.
