Easter 2018 is finally here and for some, Easter Sunday will involve a whole load of cooking and shopping as all the family traipse round for dinner.
With so much to prepare for the big day, it would be a disaster to have forgotten some of the key ingredients or, heaven forbid, run out of chocolate eggs.
And the last thing a host needs is to make a quick dash to the shops only to find they're closed for Easter Sunday.

When is Tesco open over Easter?
On Easter Sunday, or April Fool’s Day, the majority of stores will be closed - while on Easter Monday, stores in England and Wales will open between 9am and 6pm.
However, all Express stores will remain open - even on Easter Sunday.
When is Sainsburys open over Easter?
All stores in England, Wales and Northern Ireland will close on Easter Sunday and will have reduced hours on Easter Monday.

When is Morrisons open over Easter?
Morrisons is the only supermarket open for the majority of the weekend - even open 10am to 5pm on Easter Sunday although customers are still advised to check their local branch.
Stores will also be opening 9am to 6pm on Easter Monday.
When is Asda open over Easter?
Asda’s main stores in England, Wales and Northern Ireland will all be closed on Easter Sunday.
However, those in Scotland will operate normal opening hours.

When is Lidl open over Easter?
On Easter Sunday, all stores in England, Wales and Northern Ireland will be shut - but Scottish stores will open as normal.
On bank holiday Monday, Lidl stores will operate slightly reduced hours of 8am to 8pm.
However, Lidl stresses that individual stores may have slight variations so customers are advised to check their local branch.
