60-yr-old man thrashes widow friend

Nagpur: A 60-year-old married man has been booked for outraging the modesty of a woman after a monetary dispute. The accused has also been charged with threatening and criminal intimidation after allegedly manhandling the woman.

The accused Pramod Anantwar is learnt to have barged into the residence of the 42-year-old widow on March 31 and had a scuffle with her. The woman, mother of two girls, is learnt to have befriended Anantwar while working as a real estate agent. Anantwar, a teacher, too worked as part-time real estate agent.


Anantwar had allegedly borrowed 3.50 lakh from the woman in November last year. Police said the relations between the two started souring when the woman demanded her money back
