Rajkot: With the arrest of three people six cases of vehicle thefts were solved in Rajkot on Sunday.

Police arrested Nikunj Chotalia alias Jigo (22), resident of Jivannagar area in Rajkot; Dhaval Kubavat (20), resident of Balambha village of Jodia taluka in Jamnagar district; and Amar Tharesa (20), resident of Bedipara area in Rajkot, from Race Course Ring Road in Rajkot.


“The accused had two vehicles. Later, we recovered four more two-wheelers, all worth Rs 1.6 lakh, from their homes. They confessed to having stolen the vehicles in the past eight months,” said Rajkot special operation group sub-inspector H M Rana.
