One booklet highlights ‘failure’ of the govt. on issues pertaining to Bengaluru

Accusing the Congress government of maladministration in the State, the Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday released charge sheets against it in the form of three booklets.

While one booklet highlights the alleged misrule and failure of the government on issues pertaining to Bengaluru, the other two are on farmers’ woes and “law and order breakdown” in the State. The booklets contain caricatures and newspaper clippings to highlight each of the issues. It will be circulated across the State.

Releasing the booklets here, Union Minister for Information Technology Ravi Shankar Prasad told mediapersons that the charge sheets speak about the alleged misdemeanour, maladministration and corruption of the Congress government. “Whenever you go for elections, you go with positives. However, the Congress government in Karnataka is going with negatives. You (Congress) are desperate and you seek to divide. The desperation is only designed to deny (BJP State president) B.S. Yeddyurappa the post of Chief Minister,” he said.

The government, he said, cannot outline four outstanding areas of achievement. “I wont blame Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. That is the training he is getting from his boss Rahul Gandhi.”

Meanwhile, former Chief Minister and BJP State unit president B.S. Yeddyurappa said: “I can challenge that Mr. Siddaramaiah will not win. He and his son (Yathindra) will not win. I’m waiting for people to make the decision.”
