KATHMANDU: Madan Rana won the title of the fifth event of the Ruslan Monthly Medal Golf Tournament here at the Royal Nepal Golf Club on Saturday.
Played under stroke play full handicap format, the 12-handicapper, Rana finished first on count back after he was tied on one-under 67 with Hari Bahadur Shrestha. Rana played two-over 38 on the back nine, while 14-handicap amateur Shrestha shot 40.
Mithun Rai won the gross section title with the score of eight-over 76. A total of 15 players took part in the tournament organised by Royal Nepal Golf Club under the sponsorship of Ruslan. Former RNGC President Madhukar Yakthumba handed over the prizes to the winners. — HNS
