Siraha, March 31
Nepal Communist Party (Revolutionary) leader CP Gajurel today described the left alliance between CPN-Maoist Centre and CPN-UML as reactionary.
Speaking at a programme held in Golbazar, Siraha, Gajurel said the incumbent government was not working in the people’s interest. As it is working to protect reactionary forces, it is not even a left alliance, he added.
On a different note, Gajurel said the CPN-Maoist Centre was merging and not unifying with the UML,“ he said.
Stating that they were not in position to take up arms in the name of people’s war, Gajurel said, “We are weak in terms of our organisation. So, we will launch a peaceful agitation.”
