Following a series of major renovations about a year ago, the Painesville Railroad Museum continues to make improvements.

The depot at 475 Railroad St. will soon be adding new furnishings.

“The Western Reserve Junior Service League has awarded us a $2,268.52 grant for the purchase of new folding tables,” Vice President Tom Pescha said. “ The grant enabled us to replace our current old tables and have all our tables the same size and unity.”

Pescha explained that the old tables were very old, all different sizes and not very sturdy.

The tables are essential for day-to-day operations and are used for dinners and train shows at the museum.
