Ten
Congress members of
Berhampur Municipal Corporation (
BeMC) resigned from the primary membership of the party on Saturday. They are likely to join
BJD, reports Hrusikesh Mohanty.
The Congress now has one corporator in the 40-ward BeMC.
Those who resigned from the party are Priyanka Choudhury (ward 3), Anil Kumar Nayak (ward 4), R Murali Mohan (ward 5), Ranjit Nayak (ward 6), Lili Behera (ward 20), Gita Madhei (ward 21), Sanjukta Patra (ward 29), M Minakhi (ward 33), B Srinibash Rao (ward 34) and Minati Bisoi (ward 40).
