Odisha: 10 Congress BeMC members quit

Ten Congress members of Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BeMC) resigned from the primary membership of the party on Saturday. They are likely to join BJD, reports Hrusikesh Mohanty.

The Congress now has one corporator in the 40-ward BeMC.


Those who resigned from the party are Priyanka Choudhury (ward 3), Anil Kumar Nayak (ward 4), R Murali Mohan (ward 5), Ranjit Nayak (ward 6), Lili Behera (ward 20), Gita Madhei (ward 21), Sanjukta Patra (ward 29), M Minakhi (ward 33), B Srinibash Rao (ward 34) and Minati Bisoi (ward 40).
