CBSE papers leak: two coaching centre directors arrested, four students detained in Jharkhand

Police have already detained six Class X students in the case.

Six more people, including two directors of a coaching centre in Chatra, Jharkhand, were apprehended on March 31 in connection with the CBSE question papers leak, police said. Since March 30, 12 people, including Class X and XI students, have been apprehended in the case from Chatra district, they said.

The CBSE came under criticism after its Class X mathematics and Class XII economics papers were leaked earlier this week. The police on March 30 detained six Class X students in the case.

 

The police said that among those detained on March 31, four were from different schools in the district.

A Class XI student was detained from the Navodaya Vidyalala campus in Chatra. He had hid chits containing answers of a leaked question paper in the school’s bathroom, police said. Two students are from Patna, they said.
