As many as ten people died while three are critically injured as a four-storey building collapsed near Sarwate bus stand in Madhya Pradesh's Indore around 10 on Saturday night.
Police said many people are feared trapped under the debris while rescue operations are underway.
According to Indore Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Harinarayan Mishra, a car rammed into the building, which is said to be about 50 years old. The collapsed building housed MS Hotel, a lodge-cum-eatery.
Superintendent of MY Hospital, VS Paul, confirmed the death of ten people, while three are undergoing treatment at the district hospital.
The owner of the hotel Harish Soni was also killed in the tragedy. Out of the dead, four men and two women remain unidentified.
