President Ram Nath Kovind has extended his greetings and best wishes to the citizens, especially to members of the Christian community in India and abroad on the eve of Easter.
In his message, Mr Kovind said, Easter, the sacred day of the resurrection of Lord Jesus, brings joy and equanimity to the hearts. He wished that the teachings of Christ guide the people to the essential commonalities among various religions- and they promote peace and fraternity.
He expressed confidence that the festival will instill in us a sense of unity and reinforce commitment to the well-being and prosperity of the nation and shared society.
