Brush pickup starts Monday in Sandwich

SANDWICH – Brush pickup will begin Monday in Sandwich.

The program has been modified to one-day monthly ward pickups, according to information provided by the city. Brush must be at street curbs or shoulders by 7 a.m. on the Monday designated for each ward.

Ward 1 is the first Monday of the month, Ward 2 the second, Ward 3 the third and Ward 4 the fourth.

Once brush is picked up, crews will not make collections until the next month. The city will not pick up branches or limbs that result from contracted services, including tree removal.
