WASHINGTON—An American and a British service member of the U.S.-led coalition in Syria were killed by an explosive in the country’s north, the American and British militaries said on Friday.
Another five were wounded, according to the Pentagon, which didn’t specify their nationalities. Four members of a local military council affiliated with the coalition were also injured, said the U.K.-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
