Congress MLA Malikayya Venkayya Guttedar expelled for 6 years

Ahead of the assembly polls, the on Thursday expelled its MLA from the party for six years.

According to G. Parameshwara, Guttedar, a six-time MLA from Afzalpur and a former minister, has been expelled for his "anti-party" activities.

Earlier in the day Guttedar met state (BJP) B S Yeddyurappa and is most likely to join the party in Mysuru on March 30 or March 31, during party Amit Shah's visit.
