Anup, Shivam, Gyanaranjan, Anand enter pre-quarters

Pune: National cueist, Anup Uppal, Mumbai’s Shivam Arora, along with Anand Raghuwanshi scored an easy wins to enter the pre-quarter final round in the inaugural Sterlite Tech Cup India Open Snooker Championship, played at The Q Club tables, Vimannagar on Thursday.

Anuj Uppal who had represented Indian National team in the past Uppal taught lessons to Saddam Shaikh of Q Club scoring an easy 81-3, 60-20, 61-10 win. Shivam Arora of Mumbai also scored one sided win over Kailwalya Jadhav of Cue Club 69-60, 80-51, 85-43.
Anand Raghuwanshi secured his place in top 16 players by defeating Ashish Chawla of New Club 73-29, 51-17, 75-1.
