Tobias Menzies has a secret. At least, he had a secret when I met him last week to talk about his new AMC drama-horror series The Terror. But despite being on the verge of what might be the biggest role of his life, his poker face did not slip for a moment. Then, six days later, Netflix announced that Menzies has been cast as the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, in the third and fourth series of The Crown. Taking over from Matt Smith as the show enters the Seventies and Eighties, Menzies will reportedly begin shooting in the summer.
