Bhubaneswar: The ruling BJD's student wing on Thursday demanded resignation of Union minister Prakash Javadekar, protesting against the CBSE's decision to re-conduct two papers of Class X and Class XII.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to re-conduct examinations for Mathematics paper of Class X and Economics paper of Class XII.
The activists of the Biju Chhatra Janata Dal (BCJD) gheraoed the CBSE office in Bhubaneswar pressing for their demand.
"Why is Prime Minister Narendra Modi silent at a time when the future of lakhs of students is at stake? He should take responsibility and answer. We demand resignation of Javadekar for his incompetency," said BCJD president, Rana Pratap Patra.
Patra also demanded a high-level probe into the leak to bring the culprits to book.
