The Museum of Cultural and Natural History at Central Michigan University is hosting an event this weekend to highlight emotions that the shootings of March 2nd may have evoked.

“One Community, One CMU: Touchstone Art Project” will be held at the CMU Museum in Rowe Hall. The designs will be brought together to show the overall meaning of the event from the community that it effected.

Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and area community members are encouraged to submit their work through PDF files for the designing contest. All pictures are welcomed no matter the style. Whether it’s hand-drawn or computer-made the only requirement is that the design shows an overall theme of unification.

The winning artwork will be constructed and presented to the public in Rowe Hall. With help from the designer, the illustration could be used for resumes and/or portfolio purposes. Questions and submissions can be sent to sarah.avery@cmich.edu by April 2, 2018.
