Man Utd news: Real Madrid star Toni Kroos 'seriously considering' Mourinho offer - report

Don Balon claim Jose Mourinho has slapped a proposal on the table for the Germany international, who could be sold to finance a revamp of the Spanish club’s first-team squad.

United are the bookies’ favourites to sign World Cup winner Kroos and his exit could be sped up with reports in Spain claiming Real Madrid are in the clear to sign Verratti as his replacement.

According to Don Balon, Lionel Messi has blocked Barcelona chiefs from attempting to sign the Italy international.

Messi reportedly believes Verratti lacks the maturity to play for the Blaugrana.
