MERCEDES — The sound of her brother’s name brought tears to Yolanda Garcia’s eyes.
She was standing less than 50 feet away from the Mercedes memorial that lists her brother Pedro Martinez and 18 others who died in the Vietnam War.
Her brother PCF Pedro Martinez was among those remembered during the first Vietnam War Veterans Day flag raising ceremony at city hall.
