IPL 2018: Shikhar Dhawan may do captaincy for Sunrisers Hyderabad

Australian Cricketers Steve Smith and David Warner were eliminated from Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad IPL franchises by BCCI on Wednesday in the upcoming IPL season as they were involved in the ball-tampering scandal.

BCCI took this decision after the judgment by Cricket Australia.

Both the teams are looking for a replacement in the squad. Rajasthan Royals Team has chosen Ajinkya Rahane as the new captain of team while Surnrisers Hyderabad are still to decide about their latest captain and look for a perfect replacement for Warner.

As per the reports, Indian player Shikhar Dhawan might do captaincy for Sunrisers Hyderabad team. Earlier, he had headed IPL Franchise Deccan Chargers and later Sunrisers Hyderabad.
