American Airlines, one of the premier airline companies is adding a second daily flight to Antigua.
It is one of the Caribbean’s hottest destinations and is planning to add second daily nonstop flights from Miami to Antigua.
The second daily flight to Antigua will begin operating on December 19, with service on a Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
It’s an endorsement of Antigua’s continued tourism growth, led by a burgeoning hotel development pipeline. Indeed, a number of brands are either making their debut soon on the island or working on eventual launches in Antigua, from Elegant Hotels’ Hodges Bay to a new Waldorf Astoria project to a Marriott Autograph Collection resort.
Antigua, one of the top tourism destination and has been one of the region’s fastest-growing destinations in recent years, both in arrivals and traveler interest, with a foundation made up of some of the region’s top all inclusive properties.
American Airlines also announced a development of service between Dallas Fort Worth and both Cancun and San Jose del Cabo in Mexico.
