Ever wanted to win a year's supply of Chick-fil-A?
Residents near Millsboro will have their chance next week.
The Sussex County town will get its first Chick-fil-A location next week. The new store, which opens April 5, will be located at 30141 Commerce Dr. off Dupont Blvd. It's Delaware's 12th store and third in the southern reaches of the state, with restaurants already located in Milford and Rehoboth Beach.
One hundred eligible adults will win Chick-fil-A for a year.
According to a press release, Chick-fil-A's most passionate customers often arrive more than 24 hours in advance, packing tents, lawn chairs, computers, TVs, couches and all kinds of gear to make their wait more comfortable and entertaining. Chick-fil-A provides security, entertainment, games and, of course, plenty of fresh Chick-fil-A.
The line for the promotion opens at 6 a.m., Wednesday, April 4. If there are more than 100 people in line at that time, a raffle will be held to determine the 100 who will stay on site for the next 24 hours. If there are fewer than 100 people, Chick-fil-A will continue to register participants until this list reaches 100.
The promotion is open to people age 18 and older with an ID signifying they live in specific zip codes surrounding the restaurant.
Eligible zip codes can be found here.
The restaurant, which will create 100 jobs, according to a press release, will be open Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., serving a full breakfast menu until 10:30 a.m. All Chick-fil-A locations are closed on Sunday.
