HARLINGEN — Weather conditions continue to churn up the gulf, and forecasters have issued a small craft advisory until 7 p.m. for waters from the Rio Grande north to Baffin Bay.
High swells reaching six to eight feet and occasionally up to nine feet are forecast for gulf waters today.
Winds have abated following the overnight cold front and should reach only eight to 12 knots from the northeast.
