KATHMANDU: A seemingly devastated captain of the Australian national cricket team, Steve Smith, arrived in Sydney after facing a 12-month ban. Speaking to media upon arrival, Smith admitted that he has failed his fans and the country because of the South-Africa tampering scandal.
“It hurts … I’m deeply sorry. I love the game of cricket. I love entertaining young kids … I just want to say sorry for the pain I’ve brought to Australia, to the fans and the public,” Smith said at the presser.
