Cops seize loaded handgun and $195K worth of drugs, including fentanyl

Hamilton police say they seized $195,000 worth of drugs, including fentanyl, in a Hamilton home on Wednesday night.

They also seized a loaded gun, cash and other opioids.

On Wednesday just before 11:30 p.m., Hamilton's guns and gangs unit searched a home in the area of Weir Street North.

Police say during the search they seized large amounts of: heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, and fentanyl.

Police say the street value of the drugs is approximately $195,000.

In addition to the drugs police say they discovered large amounts of Canadian money and a loaded 22-calibre handgun.

Police arrested two men and one woman and charged them collectively with multiple drug and firearm offences.

Police say the three individuals appeared in court earlier today.
