Wynonna Judd and her band, The Big Noise, will headline the Academy Center of the Arts’ final Riverfront Park Concert of the summer, set for Saturday, Aug. 11.

Wynonna, one half of the legendary mother/daughter duo The Judds, and her band, led by her husband/drummer/producer Cactus Moser, released their debut full-length album in February 2016 via Curb Records.

She has described their sound as “vintage yet modern,” according to a news release put out by the Academy, which called the album a “rootsy work encompassing country, Americana, blues, soul and rock” with special guests ranging from Jason Isbell to Susan Tedeschi to Derek Trucks.

The Riverfront Park Concert Series kicks off Saturday, April 21 with Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives and the Secret Sisters, with opening act Leah Blevins. It continues on Saturday, June 9, with Naughty By Nature and Big Daddy Kane, and the Spin Doctors and Arrested Development on Saturday, July 14.

General admission tickets to the concerts are $11, with more expensive VIP tickets also offered. Visit www.academycenter.org for more information.
