The Flood Warning continues for
The Clear Boggy Creek near Caney
* until Thursday morning...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 6:30 PM Wednesday the stage was 26.7 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
* Forecast...The Clear Boggy Creek is near crest and will begin
falling early Thursday morning. The Clear Boggy Creek will fall
below flood stage early Thursday morning.
* Impact...At 27.0 feet...Creek levels rise to slightly above
bankfull stages in western Atoka County and the northeastern edge
of Bryan County. High stages on small feeder streams result in even
greater depths to mainstem bottomlands near their points of entry
into Clear Boggy Creek. Only croplands...pastures...and some
secondary rural roads are affected.

The Flood Warning continues for
The Illinois River near Tahlequah.
* until this evening, or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 3:30 AM Thursday, the stage was 14.25 feet.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring but the river is falling.
* Forecast...The Illinois River near Tahlequah will continue falling
to below flood stage by this afternoon.
* Impact...At 14.0 feet, moderate flooding occurs from Hanging Rock
downstream towards Tahlequah. Access roads east of the Combs Bridge
near Eagles Bluff will be impassable. Extreme turbulence makes the
river too hazardous for floating.
